The CFCC Webber Exhibit and Conference Center is designed to enhance the cultural and learning life of the campus and community. Completed in the summer of 1995, the exhibit center provides space for local, state and national traveling exhibitions.

Founded in 2001, the purpose of Marion Cultural Alliance is to be the catalyst and advocate of increased cultural impact in the community, enriching the lives of all its people through service to member organizations and the general public. The Marion Cultural Alliance organized the highly successful Horse Fever project in Marion County in 2001-2002.

Located in The Appleton Cultural Center on East Silver Springs Boulevard, the Ocala Civic Theatre presents professional quality, live productions at an affordable price. OCT produces more than 10 fully-staged productions each season, in addition to hosting touring companies. This volunteer-based organization is one of the largest community theatres in the state and serves more than 50,000 Marion, Citrus and Lake County residents each season.

The Brick City Center for the Arts opened its doors May 6, 1995, after extensive planning and renovation of a former department store in historic downtown Ocala. The center promotes community and cultural development that fosters quality, diversity and vitality of the visual arts. This community art center offers art exhibitions, special events, workshops and demonstrations, and functions as a gallery.

The Central Florida Symphony Orchestra is a fully-professional orchestra composed of outstanding musicians from our community and the finest music schools throughout the region. They are dedicated to serving Central Florida with the finest of the symphonic art. In addition to a regular concert schedule, the Orchestra performs free concerts in cooperation with the Marion County Public Education Foundation, sponsors a Young Artist Competition to seek out talented young musicians, and performs at many special events such as Fine Arts for Ocala's Symphony Under the Stars.

Fine Arts For Ocala (FAFO)

An active appreciation of fine arts has been an integral part of the cultural life of Ocala for years. "Fine Arts for Ocala," was founded in 1967 and promotes visual and performing arts programs for people of all ages. The group’s annual autumn art show, held on the grounds of the Ocala City Hall, downtown, attracts more than 50,000 people during its two days to view and purchase works of art, enjoy entertainment, and an exhibition of the artwork of area school children. FAFO also sponsors a "Symphony Under the Stars," each year which features guest orchestras and conductors.

 

Marion Civic Chorale

The Marion Civic Chorale is our area's pre-eminent chorus, providing musical entertainment for all of the Central Florida area. The Chorale performs at civic functions, residential community organization gatherings, and with church and high school choirs. In addition, concerts are presented for the holiday season and in the spring each year. Members of the Chorale come from throughout the area, from a wide variety of backgrounds and musical experience, who all share a common love of music, singing and entertaining.
